Gebrik is a robust and lightweight energy-efficient exterior brick cladding system, which is proven to offer many environmental benefits and real cost savings.
The following slideshow illustrates some of the reasons why Gebrik will be the right choice for your development:
Authentic Finish
An extensive choice of natural clay brick finishes in stretcher and stack bond with an option of prefabricated or site-applied external corners and reveals ensures a traditional brick appearance.
Energy Efficiency
Gebrik's excellent thermal performance helps achieve target U-values with minimal wall thickness. With no CFC or HCFC agents used during its manufacture the insulation is environmentally friendly and achieves a POL1 BREEAM credit.
Factory Controlled
The Gebrik panels and corners are factory produced to ensure on-site labour is kept to a minimum. This will ensure a high quality appearance that has been tested to last for in excess of 30 years.
Low Structural Frame Costs
Gebrik is non load-bearing and fixed directly to the substrate, reducing the costs of reinforcements, piling, foundations and structural frame.
Flexibility of Application
The system can be applied to new or existing buildings using appropriately tested fixings to suit masonry, light gauge steel or timber frame substrates.
Ease & Speed of Installation
The Gebrik panels and corners can be mechanically fixed in most weather conditions - to ensure you stay on schedule.
Reduced Site Storage
Up to 650m² can be delivered on a standard articulated vehicle with approx 25m² of sheet material on a standard pallet. Weighing less than 800kg, the system can be installed from mechanical access equipment - reducing costs for scaffolding, storage and wastage.
Accreditation & Compliance
Gebrik has 3rd party accreditation for a minimum of 30 years' design life in accordance with BBA certificate no 07/4403.
The system has also been tested by CWCT for application to framed buildings in accordance with Standard Test Methods for Building Envelopes, 2005.
Being a prefabricated and off-site manufactured system, Gebrik is also MMC compliant.
