Quadrant Court is part of the prestigious Wembley City regeneration, 85 acres of land surrounding the world famous Wembley Stadium. The six storey development provides a collection of one and two bedroom apartments and is the second building of the regeneration masterplan, which will include 487,000 sq ft of world class leisure and entertainment venues, a new luxury hotel, multi screen cinema, swimming pools and spas.

The masterplan includes designer shopping, restaurants and bars situated along a new tree lined pedestrian-friendly boulevard and Gebrik has been used at ground level to provide a durable, high quality insulated façade solution, which could be applied towards the end of the programme, off the critical path. The development is Mediterranean inspired, predominantly finished with steel plating and render, and the project architect, PRP, designed a black stack-bonded brick façade interlaced with semi-glazed black and fully glazed grey bricks to create a striated ‘granite’ effect.

The main contractor, John Sisk built using 140mm Aircrete blocks within a concrete frame and to achieve an exceptional U value of less than 0.20 W/m²K an additional layer of 60mm insulation was added prior to the application of the insulating Gebrik panels, creating a total wall thickness of 273mm.

Specialist cladding contractor E J Horrocks clad the entire envelope and the project was completed in December 2009.
