If you are a provider of housing with stock in urgent need of refurbishment, or want to reduce the environmental impact of new home construction by changing to a more sustainable building practice, or want to improve the efficiency of your building process then it will certainly matter to you.

The impact to the environment as a result of using traditional building practices also matters to us so we formed Aquarian Cladding Systems in 2007. Our aim is to identify external cladding systems that will help our clients change to more sustainable building practices for the 21st Century and beyond.

Improving the Cladding experience...

We work with our suppliers to ensure their products meet the stringent UK Building Regulations and insurance criteria and we have almost 10 years experience of testing and certification with BBA, CWCT and BRE. We also work with specialist installation contractors to ensure they are appropriately trained to provide technical, logistical and pricing advice prior to appointment before carrying out installation in accordance with our manufacturing partners instructions. Of course, being involved at both ends of the supply chain means that we can provide practical advice and solutions to developers, architects and building contractors to avoid any surprises throughout the design, specification, tendering and installation process.

We were appointed sole UK distributor of the Gebrik system in July 2007, as a result of our knowledge and experience of being involved in the testing, supply and installation of Gebrik throughout the UK since 2000. We work with other sales organisations throughout the UK, who will help us to identify opportunities for our product range.

Building on traditional solutions...

We believe Gebrik is the perfect natural brick cladding solution to address many of the issues that matter to clients, architects and builders faced with the ever increasing changes in government legislation, market requirements and impact of buildings on climate change. Furthermore not only is our manufacturing partner always looking to extend its range of brick finishes by including more brick slip suppliers but is now able to use the same innovative manufacturing technique to include terracotta tiles and natural stone. These product ranges are known as Gecaro, Belstone and Natstone.

Growing into the future...

Finally we are delighted to announce that we have recently become a distribution partner of CGL, the UK's leading (and original) supplier of ventilated metal rainscreens. CGL Systems is truly a systems specialist company and as such provide all aspects of the required service to warrant such a title. Their systems are fully tested in accordance with UK Building Regulation requirements, supporting us with a qualified team who can provide design assistance to suit the building needs, product details that are available in Autocad and PDF format and interface advice with other building components.
