May 2010 - News and Views...On the Face of it

Following the re-launch of the company's website, Aquarian Cladding, the UK's leading supplier of insulating brick cladding systems has now also introduced a new blog site - ‘On the Face of it’.

Written by Managing Director, Paul Richards, the blog is designed to keep readers up to date with market trends and relevant observations during visits to exhibitions and conferences across the UK and Europe. It will also include latest company news such as product launches and project completions and Paul's take on a broad range of issues such as building regulation changes and some of the other drivers affecting our industry.

In the first post, Paul reflects on a speech by Paul Morrell at the recent Bristol Constructing Excellence Conference and the challenge that it presented for the industry and clients to work together to prepare ‘a clear proposition for low carbon retrofit and new build’.

Commenting on the launch, Paul said: "Now that we have established our website as the home of product, project, technical and design information, the blog is an opportunity for us to provide comment on the market and hopefully to provoke some interesting and constructive debate within the industry. There will be a mix of news, information and comment as well as the occasional light-hearted item. Hopefully with feedback from readers, the blog will continue to evolve and become a really helpful tool for those working in the construction sector".
