Feb 2010 - New finish added to the Gebrik range.

The Metropolitan Multi has recently been added to the range in response to the regular requests from Architects and Developers to supply Gebrik in a London Multi stock finish.

The handmade appearance is achieved from machine thrown production and the warm ochre tones, smoky flashes and specks of black blend to produce a brick in keeping with many of London's finest brick buildings and is a consequence of Aquarian Cladding Systems working with Belgian brick manufacturer Vandersanden.

Approx 2200m² of Metropolitan Multi has been ordered for use on a large student accommodation scheme in Islington, which is due to start in February 2010, which will be the first use of this brick finish anywhere in the world.
