Aquarian Cladding has been awarded a contract to supply 550m² of the company's Gebrik insulating brick cladding system for an exciting new Leisure and Culture Park campus project, adjacent to the Huyton Arts and Sports Centre in Knowsley.

Having successfully worked with Balfour Beatty on five BSF schools in Knowsley during 2008 and 2009, Aquarian Cladding worked closely with the design team to specify the Gebrik Slate Smooth Blue Brindle Smooth (Ref SR12-03), which will be supplied in December 2010 and installed by Unique Roofing & Cladding Ltd.

The striking design by architect Broadway Malyan includes rainscreen cladding and cantilevered brickwork and Gebrik is considered a perfect solution to achieving the architect's design within the builder's programme. The cladding work is programmed to be complete in Spring 2011.
