Isybrik is an insulating brick cladding system, designed to provide a thin, lightweight brick solution for use either indoors or outdoors. Consisting of 1250mm long x 600mm high extruded polystyrene panels, fixings, cement based adhesive and brick slips ready for site assembly, Isybrik is a perfect solution to achieve small areas of insulated, non load-bearing brickwork using bricks to exactly match adjacent brickwork.

Any brick slips can be applied to the system and if the brick manufacturer can't extrude slips we can arrange for slips to be cut from full bricks. This will ensure a consistency across the entire brick façade and will potentially eliminate costs associated with structural brick support. It is possible to achieve any bond and makes achieving bonds such as stack, Flemish & English simpler, quicker and potentially more cost effective.

The extruded polystyrene panels are milled to provide horizontal ribbing at brick courses, which will ensure accuracy of brick slip application and have overlapping edges to provide weather protection to the substrate. Panels are supplied 20mm, 40mm, 60mm and 80mm so with brick slips available as thin as 9mm, it is possible to achieve a total thickness within 35mm.

Isybrik can be applied to most substrates including masonry and timber or steel frame, provided the polystyrene boards are securely fixed with the appropriate type and length of fixings to a minimum 15mm thick solid background.

Isybrik requires no maintenance and because it is lightweight, there is no need for foundations or any other structural supports normally associated with brickwork, making Isybrik a cost effective, adaptable and durable brick solution.
