
List of main Gebrik components
1. Brick slips
Brick slips are manufactured from extruded clay, fully vitrified to produce purpose-made 17mm slips (except the VS (VIP+) range). Slips are generally through coloured and available in smooth, sanded, wirecut, textured, handmade and glazed finishes. Slip sizes are as follows:
- 215 x 65mm
- 240 x 52mm
- 240 x 66mm
- 240 x 89mm
- 240 x 130mm
2. Panels
Panels are formed by casting clay brick slips into polyurethane and sand to form composite prefabricated panels.

Panels are manufactured 60mm thick in stretcher bond (Types P, SP, SP1 & SP1.5) and stack bond (Type RP & RP+) and supplied typically 28no per pallet Additional layers of insulation can be laminated to panels in 10mm increments up to 120mm total thickness (quantities per pallet will depend on panel thickness). 3. Corners
Corners are supplied either factory-produced to suit external returns (type HE) and opening reveals, eg jambs, soffits, etc (type FE, ST & RE) or for site assembly from PU corners (type PUE) and extruded pistol returns and slips (type ER & R)
4. Fixing Screws
Fixing screws are available in various lengths and types to suit the following different substrates:
- Clay or concrete masonry: Supplied galvanised or stainless steel, 4.6 - 4.9mm Ø screws with 11mm Ø conical headed TORX T30 heads with polyamide plugs colour coded to suit substrate. They are available in lengths of 100mm, 120mm, 140mm, 160mm, 180mm, 200mm and 220mm and are boxed in 100s.
- Steel or timber frame: Supplied galvanised or stainless steel, 6mm Ø screws with 11mm Ø conical headed TORX T30 heads, with polyamide collars to suit min 15mm thick sheathing board. They are available in lengths of 90mm, 100mm, 120mm, 140mm and are boxed in 100s.
5. Polyurethane Foam
Gebrik expanding polyurethane foam (type PUB) is used to fill joints between adjacent panels and ensure the system remains watertight and thermally efficient. Supplied in 750ml canisters with typical usage of 8m2 per canister for use with Gebrik UK & 10m² per canister for use with Gebrik 61.
6. Adhesives
Slips are applied with either a pre-batched 3-component PU-based adhesive supplied in 3kg boxes (type MC3) or cement-based adhesive supplied in 25kg bags (type GEBRIKCOL1). The PU adhesive is mixed on site and must be used with dry equipment and in dry conditions. The cement based adhesive is mixed on site with water. MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE ADHERED TO WHEN USING ADHESIVES.
7. Starter Rail
An aluminium starter rail ensures the system is thoroughly sealed at the base and provides a horizontal datum.
